Hoika API Help Page

Introduction

The API is used by http GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, etc. While taking the Hoika API into use notice that the API function input parameter and output result objects will most likely grow over time. For example the OrganizationUnit/GET-function input parameter object could get new optional fields to be used to add more filtering criteria in the future. Also for example OrganizationUnit/GET-function output parameter object could get some new fields to be included in the results in the future. Notice also that the order of fields inside the objects might change. Because of this make your system flexible enough to take these matters into account to prevent the integration to break in case of future API changes. We of course will not add new required parameters, remove existing fields from results, or change the structure of results nor input parameters object in a way it would break implemented integrations. In case we have to do this we will communicate this to integration partners.

You can use fiddler to test the API. At the bottom of the page you can see an example about calling API function to get trainings data.
